Ingredient 8 - mangoes, 4 tbsp - Toor Dal, 1.5 tsp - chilli powder, Turmeric powder -a pinch, Tamarind -a small Lemon size, Jaggery - for taste, Asafetida - a pinch, Salt to taste, Curry leaves - few, Coriander leaves - few sprigs.
Method of Preparation Make slits in mangoes and let it boil in water for a while. Cook toor dal and add a pinch of turmeric powder, tamarind paste, jaggery, asafoetida, chilli powder, salt and curry leaves to it. Now add the mangoes along with the water to the mixture. Allow it to boil for a while. Now season it with mustard and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve.
