Amrit Lal, is a mango orchardist belongs to Village Mohammed Nagar Talukedari, District Lucknow, (Uttar Pradesh). Amrit Lal, is an owner of mango orchard of an area of approximate 0.75 hectare. Average age of his orchard is about 50 years. 10 commercial and NA non-commercial varieties have been planted by Amrit Lal in his orchard for different purposes. The total commercial varieties in his orchard are 10 out of which Desi Safeda, Safeda, Desi Gola, Mohan Bhog and Lamboi are the important varieties. Besides these commercial varieties, NA non-commercial varieties have also been sustaining in his orchard. Because of its source of income, self use and to increase his source of income, he collected different mango varieties from Malihabad . He is also serving society by sharing all his varieties to the surrounding areas. He is earning about Rs 10000/- from his non-commercial varieties. He requires orchard management training, irrigation facility to conserve his green wealth and ultimately to maintain & enhance his source of income. He is very hopeful for the future of his orchard, and expects that the next generation will take interest in conservation of existing varieties and also to bring more important variety in his orchard.

Mango Varieties of Amrit Lal
According to Amrit Lal quality of Deshi Safeda is good, ripening time is medium season, taste of raw fruit is sour, flavour of ripe fruit is excellent, suitable for pickle, unsuitable for table, suitable for sucking, orange yellow peel, orange yellow pulp, fibrous, and mediumsize fruit. Reason of demand is taste. Amrit Lal does exchanges fruits of Deshi Safeda with others.

Reason of demand is taste. Amrit Lal does exchanges fruits of Deshi Gola with others.
As per the perception of Amrit Lal, Mohan Bhog is excellent quality of mango variety which ripe during late season. Taste of raw fruit is sour, flavour of ripe fruit is excellent, unsuitable for pickle, suitable for table, unsuitable for sucking, big size fruit, green yellow peel, orange yellow pulp, fibrous and reason of demand is taste. Amrit Lal does exchanges fruits of Mohan Bhog with others.
As per the perception of Amrit Lal, Lamboi is excellent quality of mango variety which ripe during medium season. Taste of raw fruit is sour, flavour of ripe fruit is excellent, unsuitable for pickle, suitable for table, unsuitable for sucking, big size fruit, green yellow peel, orange yellow pulp, reason of demand is taste.
