Kuldeep Kumar, is a mango orchardist belongs to Village Gosaiganj, District Lucknow, (Uttar Pradesh). Kuldeep Kumar, is an owner of mango orchard of an area of approximate 4 bigha. Average age of his orchard is about 30 years. 5 commercial and 6 non-commercial varieties have been planted by Kuldeep Kumar in his orchard for different purposes. The total commercial varieties in his orchard are 5 out of which Dashehari, Langra, Gulab Khas, Husnara and Chausa are the important varieties. Besides these commercial varieties, 6 non-commercial varieties have also been sustaining in his orchard. Because of its old orchard and source of income and to increase his source of income, he collected different mango varieties from Malihabad (Lucknow). He is also serving society by sharing all his varieties to the surrounding areas. He requires protection from disease and pest, multiplication of rare varieties on large scale and to increase area of rare varieties to conserve his green wealth and ultimately to maintain & enhance his source of income.

Mango Varieties of Kuldeep Kumar

According to Kuldeep Kumar quality of Dashehari is excellent, ripening time is medium season, taste of raw fruit is sour, flavour of ripe fruit is excellent, resistant to no, resistant to no, unsuitable for pickle, suitable for table, unsuitable for sucking, green yellow peel, yellow pulp, fibreless, and mediumsize fruit. The variety has resistance capacity against no. Kuldeep Kumar doesn't exchanges fruits of Langra with others.

Taste of raw fruit is sour, flavour of ripe fruit is excellent, unsuitable for pickle, unsuitable for table, suitable for sucking, small size fruit, yellow Pink peel, orange yellow pulp, fibrous and reason of demand is taste appearance. no disease has been found to be resisted in this variety. The variety has resistance capacity against no. Kuldeep Kumar doesn't exchanges fruits of Gulab Khas with others.

As per the perception of Kuldeep Kumar, The quality of fruits has been found good in Husnara. Time of ripening is also late. In raw stage, it tastes sour. On the other hand the fruits are excellent flavoured after ripening. The variety has resistance capacity against no . The variety is also capable to resist no. It is an unsuitable variety for the purpose of pickle preparation. It is suitable to serve as table variety. The variety is suitable for sucking. The peel of ripe fruit is yellow Red and pulp is of yellow in color. Fibres are present in the pulp of ripe fruit. The size of the fruit is medium. taste appearance is the main reason for its demand in market. The exchange of fruits has not been reported for this variety by the Kuldeep Kumar.
