Ram Pal Maurya, is a mango orchardist belongs to Village Mall, District Lucknow, (Uttar Pradesh). Ram Pal Maurya, is an owner of mango orchard of an area of approximate 1 bigha. Average age of his orchard is about 30 years. 6 commercial and 5 non-commercial varieties have been planted by Ram Pal Maurya in his orchard for different purposes. The total commercial varieties in his orchard are 6 out of which Dashehari, Chausa, Lucknow Safeda, Langra and Amrapali are the important varieties. Besides these commercial varieties, 5 non-commercial varieties have also been sustaining in his orchard. Because of its self interest and source of income and to increase his source of income, he collected different mango varieties from Malihabad (Lucknow) . He is also serving society by sharing all his varieties to the surrounding areas. He is earning about Rs. 1000/tree/year/- from his non-commercial varieties. He requires adoption of new technologies and maintaining available varieties by multiplication and plantation to conserve his green wealth and ultimately to maintain & enhance his source of income.

Mango Varieties of Ram Pal Maurya
As the Ram Pal Maurya said that variety named as Dashehari produces excellent quality fruits. It shows medium ripening time. Taste of raw fruit in sour. After ripening, the fruits shows excellent flavoured. no disease has been found to be resisted by the variety. The variety has resistance capacity against no. The variety is not suitable for pickle. Ripe fruits are suitable as table variety. The fruits are suitable for sucking. The peel color is green yellow and pulp color is yellow in ripe fruits. The pulp of ripe fruit not comprisesfibres. The fruit is of medium size. The taste, appearance is the main reason for its demand of this variety in market. The exchange of fruits with any other thing has been reported by Ram Pal Maurya.

The variety has resistance capacity against no. Ram Pal Maurya doesn't exchanges fruits of Langra with others.

Taste of raw fruit is sour, flavour of ripe fruit is medium, unsuitable for pickle, suitable for table, unsuitable for sucking, medium size fruit, yellow peel, yellow pulp, fibrous and reason of demand is taste. no disease has been found to be resisted in this variety. The variety has resistance capacity against no. Ram Pal Maurya doesn't exchanges fruits of Amrapali with others.
