Abstract : An acne-inducing bacterium was isolated directly by scraping ear bed on red pimple and swapping it on brain heart infusion Agar plates. The methanolic plant extracts of Mangifera indica, Syzgium cumini, Bombax ceiba and Kalanchoe pinnata showed their antimicrobial activity against acne-inducing bacteria. The antibacterial activity of methanoloic plant extract was confirmed by using well diffusion method. The leaf extract (Mangifera indica, Syzygium cumini, Bombax ceiba and) were showing the presence of sponine tannins steroids and flavonoids.
