Abstract : The suspected strain CG-92963 of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides was isolated in imported cottonseed from Auatralia in Shanghai port by traditional PDA method. The morphological characteristics, molecular and pathogenicity of CG-92963 were tested. The results showed that CG-92963 produced massive conidia on PDA, the conidia is oval or cylindrical. Universal primers and special primers were used to amplify and sequence from CG-92963. Compared with Colletotrichum gloeosporioides from GenBank databases by blast method, the homology was 100%. Pathogenicity tests showed that Gossypium Linn, Mangifera indica Linn and Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd were infected by CG-92963. The isolate CG-92963 was identified as Colletotrichum gloeosporioides (Penz.) Sacc.
