Effect of foliar sprays of nitrogen and growth regulators on nutritional status of mango trees.

Abstract : In trials with the mango cv. Dusehri in on and off years, 2,4,5-T, NAA or 2,4-D, each at 20 or 40 p.p.m., were applied alone or + urea at 2 or 4% (dates unspecified). The effects of treatments on leaf contents of dry matter, ash, N and carbohydrates were determined. The data are tabulated. The growth substances alone and in combination with urea increased all the indices studied in both on and off years. They were generally higher in the off than in the on years.
