Effect of boron and zinc sprays on the physico-chemical composition of mango fruits.

Abstract : Trials were carried out with 13-year-old trees of the mango cv. Langra. B or Zn, each at 0.2-0.8%, was applied at full bloom. Fruit length, diameter and weight appreciably increased after treatment with B or Zn. At the high rates (0.6 and 0.8%) B + Zn also significantly increased fruit contents of total sugars, ascorbic acid, acidity and TSS.
