Abstract : The experiment was conducted to study the morphological and reproductive traits of different mango cultivars. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with nine treatments and three replications, three trees served as a unit of a treatment. Among morphological characters it was observed that Bombay green gave significantly higher tree height (9.67 m) and tree spread in E-W direction (10.33 m) whereas in N-S (13.19 m) direction maximum tree spread was found in Mallika, while minimum tree height (3.80 m) and spread was recorded with Amrapali (2.41 m & 2.67 m). Maximum leaf length (34.80 cm) and leaf width (8.77 cm) was observed in cultivar Gaurjit and minimum (22.00 cm & 4.40 cm resp.) with cultivar Mallika which was at par with cultivar Dashehari. Significantly higher fresh (4.83 g) and dry weight (2.29 g) of leaf was found with Chausa, while minimum fresh weight was recorded with Pant Sinduri which was at par with Gulabkhas and Mallika. Cultivar Bombay green and Pant Sinduri were earliest in panicle emergence, while cultivar Chausa was late in panicle emergence. The internodal shoot length and per centage of flowering shoots per tree differed significantly among the cultivars. The maximum internodal shoot length (13.25 cm) was recorded in cultivar Gaurjit, while minimum (9.67 cm) in Langra. Cultivar Dashehari produced significantly higher number of fruits per tree (1026.32) followed by cultivar Pant Sinduri (968.17), while minimum number of fruits per tree was recorded with Amrapali (185.17). Chausa gave significantly higher fruit yield per tree (185 kg/tree), while minimum (30 kg/tree) was recorded in cultivar Amrapali. Yield of various cultivars ranged between 30 to 185 Kg fruits per tree.
