Abstract : Dacus opiliae sp.n., a species within the complex of D. dorsalis Hend., is described from adults of both sexes from the Northern Territory, Australia, in 1976-79. The native fruit Opilia amentacea appears to be its only host in the field, although it was bred from mango in 1969.
