Description of two new species with notes on some Oriental Idiocerinae (Homoptera: Cicadellidae).

Abstract : As a result of field collections carried out in India and Singapore, 2 new species of cicadellids are described and notes are given on the distribution and food-plants of some other species. These include Idioscopus nigroclypeatus (Melich.) and I. clavosignatus Maldonado Capriles, from mango in Singapore; the former is redescribed and the lectotype male designated for it.
