Some new records of insect pests of mango.

Abstract : As a result of surveys on mango in Uttar Pradesh, India, in 1976-77, an annotated list is given of 4 species of Coleoptera and 4 species of Hemiptera that are recorded for the first time on that food-plant in India. The species and the damage caused by them are briefly described, the months and locality of collection are given for most species, and other food2splants where known are listed. Although at present these species are minor pests, they require surveillance as they may become major pests in time.
