Abstract : The present experiment was carried out during two successive years 2010-11 and 2011-12 to enhance the fruit quality of Amrapali mango with pre-harvest foliar spray of CaCl2 @ 2% and K2SO4 @ 1% and fruit bagging. Trees of Amrapali mango were sprayed three times at 30, 20 and 10 days before harvesting. Fruit bagging with brown paper bag was employed at 20 days before harvesting of fruits. The results indicated that the spray of 2% CaCl2 and 1% K2SO4 combined with bagging was found superior to increase the quality of fruits in respect of fruit weight, TSS, ascorbic acid, sugars, ?-carotene content and TSS: acid ratio and decrease the total acidity with minimum black spotted fruits per cent and highest organoleptic quality among all treatments in both the seasons.
