Abstract : Mycelial growth and sporulation of C. gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] were best on mango-dextrose agar at 28 deg C and pH 6, perithecia and ascospores being formed best at 22 deg and pH 6.5. The perfect state was found on overwintered mango leaves in the field.
