Abstract : Eriophyoid mite species caused devastating damage on different hosts like agriculture, horticultural and others potentially and economically important crops in the Coimbatore condition. Three economically important eriophyid mites like Aceria jasmini, Aceria mangiferae and Aceria mori were assessed the damage potential based on their damage grade scales (0-4) under the Coimbatore condition. The mites caused the damage by infesting along the midrib of leaf and whole buds of the plants. The leaves and buds of infested plants were curled and twisted ina characteristic manner and growth is stunted, caused reduction in yield (95.2) per cent reduction in jasmine, 61.71 per cent yield reduction in mango and 79.08 per cent yield reduction was observed on bushes with 76-100% eriophyid damage.
