Abstract : A set of 20 mango varieties was evaluated for three consecutive years under natural conditions for incidence of floral malformation. It was observed that two varieties namely Bangalora and Baneshan showed resistant type of reaction and only 0.31% and 1.69% mean malformation was recorded respectively. However, among other varieties, a set of 10 varieties was categorized as moderately susceptible producing 11-20% malformation and 8 varieties were categorized as moderately resistant, where 6-10% malformation was recorded. Type of inflorescence varied from loose and open type to highly compact type depending upon the varietal characteristics.
