Abstract : Hoppers are one of the major constraints in production and productivity of mango. There are various species of hopper namely Amritodus atkinsoni Leth., Idioscopus clypealis Leth. etc. These are widespread in mango growing regions resulting in considerable economic losses. The identification, relationship with different weather parameters and biology is hereunder reviewed briefly.
