Deblossoming mangoes with cycloheximide.

Abstract : In trials with the mango cvs Dashehari and Mallika cycloheximide, as Acti-Aid, was applied at 100-2000 p.p.m. in early February. Very good results were obtained with cycloheximide at 250 and 500 p.p.m. and the panicles were killed within 10 days of application. Before the old panicles were completely shed, new panicles which ultimately set fruits began to emerge.
