Studies on extraction methods of total RNA from lemon tissues.

Abstract : In order to obtain high-quality RNA from lemon, 5 methods for RNA extraction from different Xiangshui lemon tissues were evaluated upon time and cost consumption, yield and quality of RNA isolated, to select the best method to extract RNA from lemon tissues. The results showed that the modified HuaYueyang kit method by our team was best, which could extract, higher amount and quality of RNA from the tissues. This method is very suitable for extracting total RNA from XiangShui Lemon. By using this method, our research team successfully extracted high quality total RNA of white lemon, Guangxi local lemon, kumquat, and mango.
