Abstract : Young mango trees, cv. Haden, with a high incidence of flower malformation were sprayed with one of several fungicides or acaricides in April, May and June. Populations of the mango mite, Eriophyes [Aceria] mangiferae, were markedly reduced by monocrotophos, and to a lesser extent by bromopropylate and benomyl. The incidence of flower malformation, however, was not affected by any of the treatments.
