Abstract : This paper focuses on the history of mango pulp weevil (Cryptorhynchus frigidus) ocurrence in the Philippines and the quarantine measures established in Palawan island to prevent the spread of this invasive species throughout the country. The behaviour, biology and management of this invasive species are also discussed.
