Abstract : The processing agribusinesses of pulp and fruit juice in the region of Zona da Mata of Minas Gerais receive fruit of several family farmers with organic and conventional crops. Factors such as the different types of management systems adopted in the pre- and post-harvest and orchards formed by plants from seeds or grafted plants, which differ greatly in terms of size of the plants, can affect the quality of the fruits. Therefore, during the season of 2011/2012, a study was conducted in order to assess the quality of mango 'Ubá' offered at a regional agribusiness, by different farmers. Sleeves were sampled from eight producers (5 organic and 3 conventional) in the receiving dock fruit agribusiness. The characteristics evaluated were: fruit weight, percentage (%) of fruit with internal injuries, soluble solids (SS) expressed in°Brix, titratable acidity (TA) expressed as% of anhydrous citric acid, pH and SS/TA. It was found significant differences in the quality of the fruit offered by different producers, and, on average, organic farmers had offered fruits of better quality than conventional producers.
