Abstract : In field trials all the fungicides reduced incidence but the best control and yield were obtained with sprays of 0.1% carbendazim and 0.2% benomyl (5 sprays at 10-day intervals). Tridemorph, Microsul (sulphur) and butrimate [bupirimate] were also effective.ADDITIONAL ABSTRACT:Effective control was achieved with 5 sprays at 10-day intervals of carbendazim (0.1%) and benomyl (0.2%) and yields were increased. Tridemorph, Microsul (sulphur) and butrimate [bupirimate] were also effective.
