Abstract : In tests on cultivar Sukul, fruit rots caused by Botryodiplodia theobromae and Macrophoma mangiferae were nil at 10 deg C for up to 16 days, increasing gradually with increased temp. At 35 deg , rot was 100% in 12 days and 70.2% in 16 days, respectively. Little rot occurred at low RH but it was 76.8 and 36.9%, respectively after 10 days at 100% RH. In all cases B. theobromae was more damaging than M. mangiferae.
