Abstract : The new cv., resulting from a cross of Alphonso with Neelum, is moderately vigorous (tree height of 5.7-6.7 m after 10 years), flowers between December and February and starts bearing from the 4th year. The fruits are large (315 g), greenish orange with firm fibreless flesh of good flavour. They ripen in late May and early June.
