Effect of different concentrations of growth regulators on rooting and survival percentages of mango air-layers.

Abstract : IBA or NAA, each at 5000 or 10?000 p.p.m. in lanolin paste, was applied to the upper portion of the cut. The best rooting (75%) and plant survival after 1 year (55%) were obtained with IBA at 10?000 p.p.m. Data are tabulated on the average number of primary roots, their length and the number of secondary roots.
