Abstract : Cross-pollinated mango fruitlets contained more auxin-like substances than self-pollinated fruitlets. When radioactive 32P was applied to branches subsequent analysis showed that cross-pollinated fruitlets and their corresponding leaves had accumulated more label than self-pollinated ones. Nucleic acid levels were also higher in cross-pollinated fruitlets.t
