A note on residues of certain insecticides in/on mango fruits.

Abstract : Eight insecticides were applied at fruit formation and again 30 days later to control Sternochetus mangiferae and the fruits were sampled 45 days after the second spray. The lowest residues were those of parathion-methyl (0.07 p.p.m.) and phosphamidon (0.08 p.p.m.) and the highest were those of dimethoate (0.74 p.p.m.). However, residues of all insecticides were well below the accepted tolerance levels.
