Yield and leaf K status as influenced by potassium application in mango.

Abstract : In 4-year trials with 15-year old trees of the cv. Dashehari, K2O at 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0 kg/tree was applied annually as a split dose with 50% in October and 50% in January. K fertilization increased leaf K which was higher in the off than in the on years. The mean yield increase was 30% over the control in trees receiving l.5 kg K/tree.
