Abstract : The effect of environmental factors on populations of Idioscopus clypealis on mango was determined in field tests in Uttar Pradesh, India, in 1976. Populations reached a peak during March-April and were smallest during December-January. Temperature and relative humidity both affected population development. A quadratic equation of maximum and minimum temperatures and relative humidity was reliable and explained 89% of the population variation.
