Responses of maturing "Carabao" mango fruits to pre-harvest ethephon application.

Abstract : Maturing fruits were exposed to 0, 50, 100 or 200 p.p.m. ethephon. Fruit retention increased when ethephon was applied 40 but not 54 or 68 days after flowering. However, 200 p.p.m. ethephon applied at 54 days accelerated maturation.
