Abstract : In 2-season trials with 18-year-old trees of the cv. Taimour, N at 600 or 1200 g/tree was applied via the soil and/or Zn, Mn, Cu or B via the foliage. The best reduction of flower malformation was obtained with the higher N rate with Zn or Mn, each at 0.3%, applied in May and again in September.
