Abstract : A review and discussion, with mention of compound and backyard fruit trees, small family orchards and commercial plantations. Bases on which to determine manuring programmes are outlined. Data are provided on bananas, plantains, mangoes, avocados, pineapples, pawpaws and citrus fruits.
