New report of parasites on mango fleaweevil, Rhynchaenus mangiferae (Coleoptera: Curculionidae).

Abstract : Examples of Rhynchaenus mangiferae collected from mango in the Bangalore area of Karnataka, India, in May 1979 were found to be parasitized by Cirrospilus quadristriatus, Teleopterus sp., Euderus sp. and Sphegigaster sp. All 4 parasites are new records for the pest and for India. Percentage parasitism was 35.8 for the 1st species and 8 for the other 3 species combined.
