Abstract : In lab. tests several fungicides were promising against mycelial growth of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata], the cause of anthracnose. Velvet blight (Septobasidium bogoriense) was prevented from recurring on twigs from which the mycelium was scraped prior to painting with a paste of copper oxychloride, chlorothalonil or stabilised Bordeaux.
