Effect of malformation on changes in endogenous gibberellins and cytokinins during floral development of mango.

Abstract : Patterns of gibberellin content in developing malformed inflorescences of the cv. Dashehari were very different from those in normal inflorescences. Cytokinin changes in healthy and malformed tissues followed a similar pattern but cytokinin concentrations were always higher in the malformed inflorescences. Some qualitative differences were detected between chromatographs of cytokinins from malformed and healthy inflorescences.
