Abstract : A review. Both NAA and IBA promoted rooting of tangerine and mango stem cuttings. Daminozide increased the percentage of hemaphrodite flowers in mango whereas MH had the opposite effect. With litchi, ethephon at 100 p.p.m. applied in December to the early cv. Hong Huay increased flowering, but it had no effect on the late cv. O-Hia even at higher concentrations. Pawpaw showed no change in sex expression after treatment with GA3 or ethephon applied 21 days after germination. In longan, ratios of male to hemaphrodite flowers were changed by growth regulators applied one month before the appearance of the inflorescence; NAA, CCC [chlormequat] and ethephon all reduced the number of male flowers. In tangerines sprayed with 2,4-D or GA at full bloom, fruit set was increased, while subsequent fruit drop was unaffected.
