Abstract : Crop reports are presented on: avocado (including Phytophthora root rot control, cv. evaluation and potential damage by Amblypelta nitida); citrus (miticides for Phyllocoptruta oleivora control and integrated pest management); custard apple (growth studies, propagation, and factors affecting precocity, yield and fruit size); litchis (nutrition studies, effect of cincturing, plant water relations, seedling growth, and market potential); macadamia (nut drop, water stress, cv. trial, fertilizer and nutrition studies, plantation design, and selecting for yield); mango (cultivars, management and water relations); pawpaw (plant improvement); passion fruit (temperature responses, effect of cv. and rootstock, water relations and foliar-applied N); persimmon (cv. assessment); pineapple (clonal selection, breeding and pests); low-chill-requirement stonefruit (including peaches and nectarines); and other crops (including guavas, ginger, Casimiroa edulis, strawberries and kiwifruit).
