Abstract : The inhibitory effects of the aqueous extracts of raw and cooked Psophocarpus tetragonolobus, Artocarpus heterophyllus, A. hirsutus, Cassia tora and Tamarindus indica seeds, and mango kernels, are compared. Cooked A. heterophyllus seeds and mango kernels showed more inhibitory activity than the fresh seeds/kernels.
