Abstract : The frequency with which tephritids occurred on mangoes, guavas, litchis and Citrus spp. imported as air baggage was studied between April 1983 and March 1984 in Japan. A total of 1013 individuals of Dacus dorsalis from all 4 fruits, 31 of D. correctus from guavas and 1 of D. latifrons from litchis was found.
