Abstract : C. gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata], which causes anthracnose of many tropical and sub-tropical fruits, grew and sporulated at 15-35°C (opt. 20-30°), both on PDA and host fruit. Growth and sporulation were very low on mango fruit. Light was not necessary for growth but it enhanced sporulation.
