Abstract : Tabulated data are presented on fruit weight, volume and specific gravity, percentage of total soluble solids, ratio of edible to nonedible part of fruit (E ratio) and contents of ascorbic acid, sugars, protein, crude fibre, ash and oil for 10 varieties, obtained during 1980. Chausa and Rataul had the highest E ratio (3.4 : 1 and 3.3 : 1, respectively), Dashehari the highest ascorbic acid content (16.15 mg/100 mg of flesh) and the highest content of total sugars (15.46%), and Dashehari Puria the highest protein content (1.2%).
