A note on the effect of some plant regulators on fruit retention in mango (Mangifera indica L.).

Abstract : In 2-year trials with the cultivars Langra and Dashehari, NAA or GA, each at 5-25 p.p.m., was applied once, at full bloom, twice, at full bloom and at the pea stage, or thrice, at full bloom, and at the pea and marble stages. NAA at 5 p.p.m. applied 3 times gave maximum fruit retention in Langra. With Dashehari, maximum fruit retention was obtained with GA at 10 p.p.m. applied once.
