Abstract : The paper is a synthesis of 3 papers presented at the 13th NORCOFEL Congress (Tenerife, 1983). Symptoms and causal fungi are described. Fusarium moniliforme [Gibberella fujikuroi] var. subglutinans (causing fruit abnormalities) and Phytophthora sp. (leaf and root death) on pineapple, Oidium caricae and P. palmivora on pawpaw and O. mangiferae and Colletotrichum gloeosporoides [Glomerella cingulata] on mango were the most prevalent.
