Biochemical changes during malformation in mango cultivars as influenced by various chemicals.

Abstract : In an orchard tests with trees c. 15 yr old, a foliar spray with 2000 p.p.m. Bavistin [carbendazim] gave max. disease reduction (95%) in cv. Dashehari and 91.3% in cv. S.B.Chausa. Potassium metabisulphite gave max. disease control in S.B.Chausa (92.5%) and naphthalene acetic acid > 94% reduction in Dashehari. Biochemical aspects of the treatments are discussed.
