A note on some promising sucking mangoes of Punjab.

Abstract : Descriptions are given of the 7 best trees encountered during a survey of the foothill regions of Gurdaspur, Hoshiapur and Ropar districts in the Punjab during 1972-78. All are of seedling origin and their fruits have good sucking qualities, such as oblong shape, tough skin, juiciness, low fibre content, a small stone and a red blush to the skin.
