Abstract : Thirty-nine varieties evaluated over 5 years showed significant genotype X environment interaction for yield. Calculation of stability parameters identified Rumani as stable and high yielding (mean 96.95 kg/tree). The highest yielding variety, Suvarna Jahangir (114.6 kg/tree), was unstable but responsive to favourable environments.
