Abstract : In a study of 7 cultivars, frequency of malformed panicles ranged from 44.0 to 53.9% when untreated and from 2.4 to 22.7% following treatment with NAA (200 p.p.m.). In both cases the frequency was lowest in Dusheri, which also showed the greatest response to treatment.
