Comparative study of veneer grafting and patch budding in Mangifera indica L. cv. Dashehari.

Abstract : Patch budding and veneer grafting experiments were carried out for 2 seasons on one- and two-year-old seedlings during May, June and July. Veneer grafting was the more successful technique and the best results were obtained on 2-year-old rootstocks during July. Budding was more successful in May than in June or July.
