Abstract : Seeds of mango cv. Carlota were sown on 11 January in a pre-nursery and transplanted with bare roots to the nursery at various dates from 1 February to 9 March. Survival ranged from 74% with the 1st transplanting date to 100% with the last. The youngest transplanted plants grew the most rapidly in the nursery.
